Having trained at East 15 as an actor, Ell wears many other hats as a composer, poet, singer, voice over artist, and occassional pantomime dame. Their work frequently explores modern and historical trans experience and the feeling of city nighttime through rhythm and rhyme, and has taken them across multiple fringe festivals, theatre companies, cities and countries over the years. They are currently writing a poetry play focussing on experiences of transness and existing ‘in between’, rejuvenating their voice booth, and learning the drums.
