Joe Mclellan

Joe is a multi media artist who works to expressively capture the world around him. He takes inspiration from people, places and nature, in particular under water. He has recently been developing work from photographs he has taken while snorkelling. The completely different world that is just below the waves is full of interesting shapes, textures and vibrant but earthy colours that lend themselves well to exploratory mixing of materials which characterises much of Joe’s art.

He is a co-founder of Neon Tide Collective – a trio of artists working to bring more creative opportunities to Stirling and Forth Valley.
