I am a queer Thai-British multidisciplinary creative working across Central Scotland and beyond.
📷 I am a freelance photographer specialising in portrait, event and outdoor photography. Clients have included National Trust for Scotland, Fringe of Colour and the Scottish Museum of Empire, Slavery, Colonialism and Migration.
✍️ I am also a freelance writer covering arts and culture, social justice and climate justice. I have more than 40 articles published in print and online including in The Courier, Bella Caledonia, Migrant Women Press and shado magazine.
🗣️ Outside of my journalism work, I enjoy creative writing. My poetry has won the Bold Types Scottish Women’s Creative Writing Competition and has been published in various journals and anthologies. Performances include Push The Boat Out Poetry Festival and Hidden Door Arts Festival.
👥 I am the founder of Decolonising The Outdoors, a creative and community project which aims to dismantle narratives of dominating land and extracting nature, to rebuild relationships with the more-than-human world, and to empower communities by imagining anti-imperial anti-capitalist futures. Collaborations have included Edinburgh Art Festival, Take One Action Film Festival, Edinburgh’s Radical Book Fair and Glasgow Zine Library.
