Jane Francis
I am a visually impaired mixed media artist based in Burntisland, Fife. I work across painting, drawing, photography, curation and socially engaged practice. My central themes are relationality and our entanglement with the more-than-human world, indigenous cultures and neurodiversity. I draw on my own experiences of trauma and unrealised/late realised neurodivergence, and I regularly engage with other people’s writings and music, reflecting these stimuli in instinctive and gestural artworks and photographic/textual zines.
