An obscured image of a woman (my friend Lilith) sitting under a tree drawing made up of watercolour patches

In the fluidity of paint, I find a language of emotion and experience. Each block of colour is a fragment of memory, reshaped and redefined. My work is a reflection of my journey and is shaped by the landscapes of my memory. Drawing upon grid-based compositions I navigate themes of trauma and healing. Through the
interplay of form and emotion, I seek to turn darkness into light. With every square of colour I find beauty within sadness.
