This image is of a drawing on a white gessoed board. The drawing depicts the back of a hand in a multi-coloured pastel colour scheme. Above the hand is an abstracted, enlarged depiction of the lines of a wrinkled knuckle, in a cool purple tone. The hand and knuckle are scratched, peppered with white scars and red scabs. The indentations of rings can be seen on the index and the pointer fingers, and the hand fades away into the white background through the wrist.
