A small square made of concrete and plaster with some marks made on it, it is mostly white but there is some yellow coming though from underneath at one part.

Natalie Wilson

Natalie Wilson is an artist based in Leith, Edinburgh, working with found and original photographs, concrete, plaster, pigments, and pencil. Their work is rooted in exploring time and memory, through the physical act of making. They are interested in how these materials—whether it’s the solidity of concrete or the relative softness of plaster—can carry a sense of history, both personal and collective. Wilson’s process is hands-on and experimental, and they find meaning in the marks they make and the way the materials respond. Through this, they aim to create pieces that quietly speak to the ways we remember, forget, and reinterpret our past.
