Pako Vega
Hailing from Ceuta, the mythical birthplace of Calypso on the ancient island of Ogigia, Pako Vega is a multifaceted force in the world of music. Since 2018, he has been a resident DJ and radio host on EHFM, where his passion for deviant art and sonic exploration has flourished.
Pako Vega is also the founder of the Sounds Of Ogigia label and the curator of Aquelarre nights at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh, establishing himself as a key figure in the underground music scene. His monthly showcase, Sounds Of Ogigia, serves as a gateway to psychedelic soundscapes and mystical journeys, blending transcendent melodies with the enigmatic depths of the unconscious mind.
On the decks, Pako Vega delivers eclectic, unpredictable sets that range from dreamy, slow-paced grooves to high-energy rhythms, taking listeners on a boundary-pushing voyage through sound and emotion.
Beyond his work as a DJ and curator, Pako Vega is also a music producer. In December 2024, under the alias Don Francisco, he debuted a live performance featuring guitars and synths. With several gigs planned for 2025 and a debut album in the works, Don Francisco promises to further expand the horizons of his artistic journey.
