Rebekka Puderbaugh
Rebekka Puderbaugh is a comedian and performer interested in the weirdness of bodies, minds, and the society we’ve built with them. She sometimes refers to aspects of her comedy as “high concept, low brow”. Puderbaugh is interested in the human body, what we do and don’t know about it, how we feel about different parts of it, and how we can use it to convey stories and emotions. She highlights absurd aspects of human cultural expectations and norms, particularly through the lens of neurodivergent experiences. Each of these more tangible aspects of her comedy relates to more ephemeral or even philosophical themes of humor, horror, and disgust (and getting over it), comfort and discomfort, and the relationship between reality and perception.
