Sara Rhys
I am a freelance illustrator, artist and picture book maker. I enjoy using a variety of media including ink, watercolour, gouache and pastel, but my primary tool is always a pencil. My art is hugely influenced by storytelling and the natural world, particularly the countryside where I live and work.
I make work for private clients, publishers, and the occasional exhibition as well as selling a variety of prints and greetings cards. I’m the illustrator of several internationally published children’s books, and am in the process of also writing my own.
