Solen Collet
Solen is a commercial photographer by day, working digitally and with film. Her personal work encompasses both of these along with alternative processing photography techniques, collage, poetry, writing, video, installation pieces and assemblage. Her work is often creative play to process big feelings – past abusive relationships, grief, love, desire, medical trauma and most of all connection – to self, to nature and to others. Solen believes that to transmute difficult experiences into something that brings joy and questions is magic.
