Tem Rae Wilder

I am a writer, storyteller, play artist, and social justice activist, based in Glasgow, where I am the Creative Director of the Pluto Q Community Reading Room – an accessible venue for marginalised artists. I craft lyrical stories & poems that are introspective and phenomenological, and would describe my style as folk music in literary form. My picture book story “The Grey, Grey, Day” won the Kelpies Prize for Writing 2025. I also create board and tabletop games as well as immersive experimental live play experiences. I’m passionate about how we can use fiction and play to learn, grow, & transform ourselves and our lives.
