Getting here by train
The closest station is Crossmyloof, around a 7-minute walk away.
Getting here by bus
First Bus services 3, 4, 29, 38, 57 and 103 stop on Pollokshaws Road, directly outside The Glad Cafe.
Getting here by bike
There is limited space to park your own bike inside the venue. Voi Bike hire bays are on Kilmarnock Road and opposite the venue
Getting here by taxi
Taxis can pick up and drop off directly outside. The nearest taxi rank is across the road, outside Langside Halls.
Parking
There are single yellow lines and some pay and display parking bays located outside the Glad Cafe. Disabled Badge holders can park here.

Getting into the venue
The venue is reached through the cafe, down the ramp, and through a double set of doors.

Getting around inside the building
There is a ramp down the right-hand side of the cafe, making the whole space wheelchair accessible.

Please be aware there is quite a steep drop-off at the end of the ramp.

Toilets
The accessible toilet is in the cafe. As you come in, go straight on to the bar and turn left.
The toilet is right-hand transfer, and there is an emergency cord to the right of the toilet.

Baby changing facilities are available in the accessible toilet.

The Day at a Glance
Market | 10am–2pm
Free to browse and features work by local neurodivergent artists and makers.
Relaxed performance | 4-6pm
Relaxed performances are designed to reduce some of the barriers that can make attending arts events difficult. The house lights will be higher, the sound levels lower. Audience members are welcome to move around, leave and re-enter the space, use fidget tools, make noise, stim, or engage with the event in the way that works best for them. A selection of sensory tools – ear defenders, fidgets, wobble cushions etc – will be provided.
This performance is BSL interpreted.

Sensory information
– There will be a quiet space available in the venue throughout the market and the main bar will have lower sound levels.
– Our friendly and identifiable welfare staff will be in the venue all day, and are there to assist if you are feeling overwhelmed, unwell or distressed.
– There will be an access trolley with items like ear defenders, fidget toys and eye shades.

– Large print versions of the programme will be available.
– Assistance dogs are very welcome in the cafe and venue.
– If you need water for your guide dog, please ask at the bar.

- The afternoon performance is fully seated.
- The evening is seated with a larger standing capacity.
- Seating needs to be reserved; this will be an option when buying tickets

Accessible viewing
There is an accessible viewing area at the front left of the stage, beside the bar. If you’d like a reserved seat or wheelchair space close to the stage, please contact the venue in advance and they’ll allocate you a space.
