We strongly recommend booking for the performances, but it will also be possible to get a ticket on the door, subject to availability.
Getting there
We encourage you to use public transport where possible.
Getting here by train
The closest station is Crossmyloof, around a 7-minute walk away.
Getting here by bus
First Bus services 3, 4, 29, 38, 57 and 103 stop on Pollokshaws Road, directly outside The Glad Café.
Getting here by bike
There is limited space to park your own bike inside the venue. Voi Bike hire bays are on Kilmarnock Road and opposite the venue
Getting here by taxi
Taxis can pick up and drop off directly outside. The nearest taxi rank is across the road, outside Langside Halls.
Parking
There are single yellow lines and some pay and display parking bays located outside the Glad Café. Blue Badge holders can park here.

Getting into the venue
The market and performance space is reached through the cafe, down a ramp, and through a double set of doors.
Getting around inside the building
There is a ramp down the right-hand side of the cafe to access the bar and market/ performance space.
Please be aware there is quite a steep drop-off at the end of the ramp.
If you need assistance, please seek out a member of Neuk staff – we will be wearing hi-vis vests and staff lanyards.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is in the café. As you come in, go straight on to the bar and turn left.
The toilet is right-hand transfer, and there is an emergency cord to the right of the toilet.
Baby changing facilities are also available in the accessible toilet.
The Day at a Glance
Market | 11am - 2pm
Free to browse and features work by local neurodivergent artists and makers.
A Quiet Room will be available during the market for anyone who feels overwhelmed. Ask a Neuk staff member and they will be happy to show you to the Quiet Room. Staff members will be wearing hi-vis vests and staff lanyards.
Relaxed performance | 4-6pm
Relaxed performances are designed to reduce some of the barriers that can make attending arts events difficult. The house lights will be higher, the sound levels lower. Audience members are welcome to move around, leave and re-enter the space, use fidget tools, make noise, stim, or engage with the event in the way that works best for them. A selection of sensory tools – ear defenders, fidgets, wobble cushions etc – will be provided.
This performance is BSL interpreted.

Evening performance | 8 - 10pm [18+]
Cabaret performance for adults only. Expect a livelier room, fuller lighting and sound.

Sensory Information
There will be a Quiet Room available in the venue throughout the market .
Music will be playing throughout the day, but we have asked the venue to lower the sound levels in the bar.
Our friendly and identifiable welfare staff will be in the venue all day, and are there to assist if you are feeling overwhelmed, unwell or distressed.
You can also borrow sensory supports from our access trolley. These include:
- ear defenders
- fidget toys
- eye shades
- fans
Information for Visually Impaired Attendees
Large print versions of the programme will be available.
Assistance dogs are very welcome in the cafe and venue.
If you need water for your guide dog, please ask at the bar.
Information for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Attendees
The Afternoon (Relaxed) performance will have a BSL interpreter.

Seating
Seating during the market
There is plenty of seating in the Glad Café itself – why not get a table and stay for brunch?
There is no fixed seating inside the market space, but we have two folding walking-stick stools for anyone who needs a seat while browsing.
Seating during the Relaxed / Afternoon Performance
The afternoon performance is fully seated.
Please let us know when booking if you need a specific type/location of seat (e.g. near the exit, in the front row, extra legroom)
Seating during the Evening Performance
The evening performance is mainly standing, with some seating.
If you need to sit, please make sure you choose a Seated ticket when you book.

Wheelchair-Accessible Viewing Area
There is an accessible viewing area at the front left of the stage, beside the bar. If you’d like a reserved wheelchair space close to the stage, please let us know when booking.
Personal Assistants / Gig Buddies
As a free event any audience member needing a companion ticket has access free of charge.
If you need us to reserve two seats together for you and a PA/gig buddy, please let us know when booking.
