Together | Apart
Together | Apart is a mixed media exhibition by members of Neuk Collective, presented at Project Ability in Glasgow.
The exhibition brings together work by neurodivergent artists from across Scotland. It explores experiences of separation and connection – and the ways these can exist at the same time. Artists were invited to reflect on what it means to be both distinct and interwoven: separated by geography, but connected through shared experience, identity and community.
The exhibition includes a wide range of media, including textiles, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, video and sound. Each artist approaches the theme in their own way, creating a rich and varied exploration of belonging, distance, individuality and interdependence. Together | Apart is presented in collaboration with Project Ability, an organisation with decades of experience supporting and advocating for disabled artists. Neuk Collective is grateful to Project Ability for hosting the exhibition and supporting the project.

Artist Books Project
Members from across Scotland came together to create a collaborative series of artist books for Together | Apart. Each mini-book was made individually and later brought together into 10 shared volumes. The result is a beautiful collective artwork exploring distance, connection and shared making.

The physical artist books are on display in the exhibition as a collaborative artwork by Neuk Collective members from across Scotland. You can also explore the digital version, including detailed scans of each book and inside spreads.
