Neuk Presents: Made in Glasgow is a full-day event celebrating the work of neurodivergent and disabled artists based in Glasgow. Organised by Neuk Collective and taking place at The Glad Cafe on 25 July, the event brings together live performance, creative community, and an artist market in an accessible and welcoming space.

Line-up:
Our afternoon performance, showcases spoken word from our talented Neuk membership, with new work from brilliant wordsmiths Tem Rae Wilder, Sarah Heitler, Alasdair Watson and Ocean Teal. We’ll also have live music from Peter Johnstone, an artist making music about love, friendship and the absurdity of life, and a set from Glasgow-based band Mother Tongues, a neurodivergent, trans-led string ensemble that plays folk and roots music from around the world.

Line-up:
A late-night cabaret of talent from Neuk’s membership, the bold line up includes thrilling drag, award-winning spoken word and a unique brand of performance art.
Drag artist Ted Bunni brings a dark humour and playful charm to every performance in the hopes of making you smile, laugh and dance. 2023 Loud Poets Grand Slam Champion RJ Hunter writes with urgency yet empathy, and is known for blistering performances that exhilarate any audience. The Parisian Socialite of Scottish Drag, Élixir combines vintage glamour and steamy choreography to bring you some sultry burlesque-inspired lip syncs. Smashing spoken word pontificating, pomp poetry™ and performance art is the anomaly Zuper Rookie, and rounding off the night with a live set is post-punk, tender and politically angsty band Off Sides.

About Made in Glasgow
Made in Glasgow is part of Neuk Collective’s ongoing work supporting neurodivergent and disabled artists across Scotland. It aims to create space for artists to share work on their own terms, experiment with new ideas, and build connections with audiences and each other.
Across the whole day, the focus is on celebrating the richness, variety, and creativity of Glasgow’s neurodivergent arts community.
Like all Neuk events, accessibility is central to the day’s design, with relaxed approaches to audience movement and noise, clear information, and a focus on creating a low-pressure environment for both performers and attendees. Full access information is available here
